First, let me say I am leaving 5-stars because the haircut turned out great - I will be a repeat client. He speaks English, which I appreciate considering I just moved here and started to learn French. I really needed a haircut and when you move to a new place that can be difficult - I like to find a good barber and stay with that person.

The appointment did not start smoothly, however. I found this barber thru Google's Gemini, it is not on Google maps. I did some extra research to make sure the address and shop were correct - I found an existing Instagram with the last post (2022) showing the location. I arrived a couple minutes early due to my doubts about the location, if I went to the wrong place I wanted to have some time to react. I found one guy sitting on a couch behind the counter, but no one else. Some of the posters looked like the ones I had seen thru my research - it doesn't say "Blend Barber" anywhere - so I decided to sit and wait. I waited for almost 10 minutes and then received a call asking why I didn't show up. It turns out I was indeed at the right location, but he had stepped out and never saw anyone walk in. An honest mistake and I didn't take offense to the call.

So if you made it to the end know this, he is in the Shama Coiffure. You can easily find this on Google Maps to help you navigate and know you are at the right spot!
